VITA mobileAssist

VITA mobileAssist provides a simple way for the perfect communication of tooth shades from dentists to dental labs or patients. The results of shade measurements performed with the VITA Easyshade V will be transferred via the standard Bluetooth interface into your Apple device and combined with a digital photo to illustrate the patient situation. The photo with the imported shade information can then be shared by using any of the communication tools installed on your Apple device. To provide a maximum flexibility VITA mobileAssist provides options for displaying the tooth shades in the established standard shade systems VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER and VITA classical A1-D4, as well as an indication of VITABLOCS shades and tooth bleaching shades. For VITA classical and VITA 3D-MASTER detailed shade information can be retrieved.

How to use VITA mobileAssist:

- Make sure that the software release on your Easyshade V is
V505k1 or higher. If not, please download the update from
https://www.vita-zahnfabrik.com/en/VITA-Easyshade-26934,27568.html
- Connect once (pair) your VITA Easyshade V to your Apple device. Use
the Bluetooth settings in the system settings menu. After this VITA Easyshade V
will disconnect immediately.
- Start VITA mobileAssist
- Touch the VITA Easyshade icon to start
- Take a patient photo or import a photo from your image library
- Perform measurements with VITA Easyshade and transfer the
results form Easyshade to the mobile Apple device by touching
the icon in the upper left corner of the Easyshade
touchscreen
- Select the dental shade system and display mode (standard or
extended shade information) in VITA by using the magnifier
icon in mobileAssist
- To share the results touch the send button in the lower left
corner of VITA mobileAssist
- Select the appropriate App for sending the report
- Repeat as often as you like
