With simple but effective exercises proven to work in Sharecare's award-winning behavior change programs, you can be calmer, less distracted, more aware, and most importantly, more focused on the things that matter most to you right now. You will build mindfulness, and be supported in accessing a mindful state when you need it — in the midst of a busy day, or a quiet moment at home.
Unwinding also has short, science-backed courses that help you understand how your brain works — and how to work with it — to be less stressed, more resilient, and more able to enjoy life. You'll learn how stress and anxiety drive many of our bad habits and unwanted behaviors, including overeating, procrastination, and more.
Each short course is paired with specific mindfulness techniques that work to calm your brain in the moment, reduce or eliminate unhelpful habits, and teach you how to improve your mental health, no matter what life throws at you.
The Unwinding app was created by the Behavioral Health team at Sharecare in partnership with Dr. Jud Brewer (MD PhD) based on his work in the fields of anxiety, addiction, and habit change. By understanding how our brain reacts to stress at a deep level, Unwinding helps people make deep, permanent change in their lives — reducing suffering for individuals and in the world at large.
