Steddy is for anyone who wishes they could keep the ball rolling on their exercise habit for just a weeee bit longer. Here’s how it works:
• PLAN YOUR WEEK
Start by choosing an activity or a scheduled rest for each day of the week using our database. We’ve got running, biking, push-ups, leg day, bootcamp, yoga, skiing, badminton…
Yeah, badminton. We tried to categorize literally everything, because exercise takes many great forms, and you deserve credit for all the calories you burn.
• FIND PLANS
Not sure where to start? Steddy comes with 11 preset routines. Read about the benefits of each routine and tweak them to fit your needs on our “Explore” tab.
• COMMIT
When you commit to your week, you can no longer change your plans for the days ahead until it is time to check in and report what you did.
• CHECK IN
Checking in takes less than 1 minute and provides a chance to reflect on your day. We don’t judge if you changed up your plans or if you didn’t get active at all, because we've been there too :D
• TRACK YOUR FOLLOW THROUGH
How many of the days that you plan to exercise do you stick to your plans? Steddy keeps track of your follow-through rate and other indicators so you can focus on the next workout. Any time you want to check up on your stats, just go to your profile to see how you’ve been doing.
• UNDERSTAND YOUR TRAINING STYLE
Every time you check in, your training style updates based on the type of activity you did. Steddy categorizes activities into four groups:
MOTOR: Running, walking, biking, swimming, HIIT, hiking… the list goes on. Motor exercises challenge your endurance and are the greatest bang for your buck if your goals are to burn calories or improve your cardiovascular health.
MUSCLE: Push-ups, pull ups, bench press, squats, and lunges galore. Resistance training exercises grow and strengthen your muscles over time.
MOTION: Yoga, tai chi, Zumba, dance, stretching etc. Some are fast, and some are slow, but all of them emphasize body positioning and are great for improving mobility, balance, and coordination.
SPORTS: These are uhhhhhhh… sports (yes, we counted golf).
• TAKE BREAKS

…. so why would we ding you for taking a break? Or maybe you still want to be active but in an unstructured way. We love planning but we know it takes mental energy, so whenever you want to just wing it, we’ve got your back all the way.
