Verb Trainer - word-finding therapy for aphasia (Speech Language Therapy app)

VERB TRAINER is a professional speech therapy app, designed for adults with aphasia and older children with special needs who have difficulty retrieving action words/verbs. It is also suitable for individuals who are learning English. It is based on the evidence-based treatment approach of errorless learning. The app also includes a Verb Naming Test.

How it works:

Verb Test

The Verb Test allows you to informally assess the person’s ability to retrieve verbs and determine which items need to be practiced.

Verb Practice

A picture of a person performing an action and the written action word/verb appear on the screen. The name of the verb is spoken/repeated three times. The user is then asked to repeat the verb three times. By using this treatment approach, the user does not struggle to name an item and can learn the word by correctly and repetitively repeating it.
