iDENtear provides real two-factor authentication is based on something you have (the iDENtear FIPS 140-2 Level 3 device*) and something you know (Your password or PIN). This method not only provides much stronger controls than traditional username and passwords, it also prevents access to your applications and data, even if your iPad or iPhone has been compromised or has been stolen….something that software tokens cannot guarantee.

The iDENtear hardware device acts as a One Time Password (OTP) device as well as a Smartcard and Key Store. The simplicity of the device doesn't require the user to interact with the iDENtear device and additionally doesn't require attaching to computing, tablet or smartphone devices and can be used on several devices that the user owns.It typically replaces calculator-type devices, OTP display tokens, Smartcards and Smartcard readers/jackets all within one iDENtear device. iDENtear improves security, user experience, provides better portability and significant cost reductions in simplifying strong authentication.

iDENtear for Good is an application enabling use of contact-less multi-factor authentication via the iDENtear hardware device which integrates directly on the application layer with the Good Dynamics solution. The application enables the user to use iDENtear to access the Good Dynamics solution, providing high levels of assurance in regards to accessing corporate email, web and other productivity tools offered through the Good Application.
